Hello everyone. I’ve got some important news for those of you who use a Trezor One hardware wallet. Satoshi Labs (the company behind the product) just announced that they just released a very important firmware update for the Trezor One.
The most important takeaway points for this update are:
- Fixes for recently discovered security vulnerabilities.
- Over 400 new cryptocurrencies and tokens added.
- Architectural changes to ensure that Trezor One never becomes obsolete.
I STRONGLY recommend you update your wallet’s firmware as soon as you can. The update process is very simple. In case you haven’t done it before, the process is pretty simple. First you need to log into your Trezor Wallet and as soon as you’re in you will see a notification that will tell you that a new firmware update is ready. Then unplug your Trezor and plug it back in _while holding both buttons pressed_ and the firmware update process will begin.
I for one am glad they figured out a way to ensure that the Trezor One doesn’t become obsolete!
